As part of this assessment, we conducted an extensive field study across sand-dam sites, community settlements, and agricultural areas, evaluating the socio-economic, environmental, and livelihood conditions of targeted beneficiaries. Engaging with over 900 household heads and 150 community members, we performed in-depth observations on infrastructure, climate change impacts, and livelihood vulnerabilities. Our findings provided critical insights, leading to strategic recommendations for mitigating environmental and social risks while maximizing community benefits and ensuring project sustainability.
