In October 2023, TaskBridge facilitated an intergovernmental peer-learning session in Baidoa, Somalia, convening key stakeholders from FGS and FMS Ministries of Interior, Security, and Justice, Presidential Offices, the National Security Office, development partners (TIS+, IOM, UNSOM, UK ERI), security agencies, and civil society representatives.
The session aimed to enhance intergovernmental and inter-agency collaboration, draw lessons from past interventions, strengthen coordination mechanisms, and refine civil-military cooperation. Discussions focused on leveraging successful strategies, while ensuring context-specific adaptation for more effective stabilization and recovery efforts.
