TaskBridge, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation of Jubbaland State of Somalia, led the development of the Jubbaland Local Government Law along with four subsidiary regulations governing District Finance Management, Procurement, Public-Private Investment, and Sanitation.
These legal frameworks were designed to enhance local governance, improve fiscal accountability, streamline procurement processes, and promote sustainable public-private partnerships.’
By integrating international best practices and contextual realities, the regulations provide structured guidelines for municipal service delivery, economic development, and environmental management, ensuring transparent, efficient, and inclusive local governance.
